The City of Palm Coast Utility Department will be conducting infrastructure improvements on Florida Park Drive and surrounding areas. These enhancements are part of the department’s ongoing commitment to improving services and ensuring the reliability of utility systems.

Beginning May 28, 2024, the Utility Department install a new wastewater force main along the north side of Florida Park Drive. The project will span from the intersection at Palm Harbor Parkway to Forest Hill Drive. As a result, the intersection of Florida Park Drive and Forest Hill Drive will be temporarily closed for approximately one week to facilitate the initial phase of the project.

During this temporary closure, alternative routes will be clearly marked to minimize disruptions to traffic flow. Following the completion of this phase, the intersection will reopen for regular use. Intermittent lane closures will occur along Florida Park Drive at the intersection for two to three weeks as the pipeline installation progresses. The overall project should be completed by mid-June 2024.

The City of Palm Coast recognizes that these temporary inconveniences may impact residents and apologizes for any disruption caused. However, these efforts are crucial for ensuring the safety and reliability of utility services within the community.

Residents with questions or in need of further information are encouraged to contact the Utility Department’s customer service team at 386-986-2360 or submit a case online at PalmCoast.gov/connect.
