Comedian Cristy B, owner of Cristy B Comedy, opened her very first comedy club today in Palm Coast. The comedy club formerly known as Madcaps Comedy Club, in City Market Place, is now under the new ownership of Cristy B, with shows every Friday and Saturday.
Not only does the club offer two sets of shows two days a week, but Cristy plans to host comedy classes and multiple open mic night opportunities. Booking the club for events is also on the horizon for the new Cristy B Comedy Club.
Cristy B’s grand opening brought out a large crowd of supporters, including her children and both of her sisters. When asked how she felt about the ribbon cutting and grand opening she told us, “Words can’t really describe, I’m just overwhelmed, joy, I’m just the happiest I’ve ever been. But I’m scared too; I’m not gonna lie, it’s scary. But I see the turnout and I think I’m gonna do alright.”
