In a recent visit to the Classroom to Careers program at Flagler Palm Coast High School (FPC), Joe Wright, President and CEO of Quantum Electrical Contractors, shared valuable insights about pursuing a career in the electrical field and explored exciting entrepreneurial opportunities. Wright, also the President of the Flagler County Education Foundation, is a passionate advocate for the education system, recognizing the immense value of trade programs in local high schools.

 

Wright emphasized the significance of trade programs in high schools, particularly the ones offered at FPC. These programs provide students with hands-on experience, equipping them with practical skills that are in high demand in the workforce. By fostering a connection between education and real-world applications, students can explore and excel in fields like electrical contracting.

Flagler Palm Coast High School’s Entrepreneurship Program of Study, offers a unique opportunity for students to develop essential skills such as problem-solving and critical thinking within an entrepreneurial framework.
