Pup of the Month: Taz; Gets Furever Home After Being Dumped Twice

SMART: Saving Missing Animal Response Team has chosen Taz as their pup of the month. Taz’s story started off rocky, being dumped not just once but twice. The team at SMART was determined to make sure that Taz’s story had a happy ending.

With the help of the community, who came together to raise over three thousand dollars, SMART was able to get Taz into a training program, in the hopes of getting him ready for a furever home.

The training program was a four week program, which Taz completed. After completing his training, Taz was adopted on February 12th, 2024. Taz is now with his new family in his furever home.

Taz’s story shows the efforts the Flagler County community will go through in order to ensure that all animals will receive their happy endings and furever homes.
