The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is expected to begin construction within the next month on the first of two buried seawalls to protect S.R. A1A.
As part of our efforts to make the public aware of the upcoming project start and what to expect, members of the FDOT project team will attend First Friday in Flagler Beach on February 2. The FDOT will have a looping video about the secant wall construction and project handouts providing a construction update. District Five Secretary John Tyler and members of the project team will be in attendance to answer questions.
FDOT values the partnership and cooperation that resulted in the S.R. A1A Resiliency Plan, and we welcome your participation with us on February 2. First Friday runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
