Seawolf Privateers is a nonprofit 501c3 organization who supports foster and displaced children in our community. They are known for their signature pirate-themed murder mystery dinner show fundraisers, as well as their recent Pirates of the Caribbean MONOPOLY fundraiser.
The money raised is used in many areas to help support the foster and displaced children in our community. One of these ways is to host events that bring these children together for a fun-filled, pirate-themed day. The 2nd annual Pirate & Mermaid Adventure Day was held on June 3, and included pirates and mermaids, a bounce house, face painting, a pirate magician, pirate-themed games, animal petting area, photo booth, crafts, cotton candy, shaved ice, and lunch for the family. Each child climbed aboard the pirate ship and visited with Captain Alan Scabbard and left with an Honorary Crew Member Certificate to remember the day. They had 119 children registered for the event and 73 parents!
The laughter, smiles, and pure joy that radiated from these children’s faces was priceless! The hugs received and the gratefulness of these parents touched their hearts significantly. They could not have done this event, or any of the other weekly food distributions, diaper distributions, emergency placement packages, and the many other things they do without the gracious support of the community members and volunteers.
Recently, their first annual Pirates of the Caribbean MONOPOLY fundraiser was such a hit that people are already asking them when their next fundraiser will be! Because of the many inquiries received, and the demand for another signature Murder Mystery Dinner Show, they are working on their next production of “Revenge of the Siren’s Gold” set for Aug 4 & 5th at the VFW here in Palm Coast. They hope that you choose to attend or extend your support as a sponsor of this upcoming show.
Thank you to the community in advance for your generosity in helping us make a difference in the lives of these children. They look forward to your continued support for the next murder mystery show, and future events they do to help these foster children in our community. Please be sure to sign up for the mailing list on our website so you don’t miss any exciting happenings in the community!
