May 31, 2023 – Unincorporated Flagler County residents will have a new solid waste collection schedule that becomes effective June 1. The county updated its webpage – https://www.flaglercounty.gov/departments/solid-waste – to easily and efficiently provide the new information. “The Flagler County Solid Waste Division contracts with Waste Pro to collect household waste, recyclables, and yard waste for the unincorporated areas in the county,” said General Services Director Mike Dickson. “Ultimately, things will run more smoothly, but it will affect a small percentage of the unincorporated Flagler County population.” The collection of garbage and recyclables within the municipalities is managed by each city agency, with…

This last weekend, May 26th, 2023 through May 29th, 2023, was a busy weekend for the Flagler County Sheriff's Office. Improvement Update on Waterfront Park

Waterfront Park is currently under construction and progress is steadily moving along as contractors install a concrete boat access ramp and a floating dock launch pad. Eric Gebo, the Stormwater and Engineering Architect for the City of Palm Coast gave a short update on the project. He explained the changes of the site, and the upcoming phase. Currently the concrete ramp and floating dock are being installed. The coquina revetment, which protects the shoreline, has already been finished.
