This Thursday, April 6th, at 2pm, Sheriff Staly will be holding the sixth annual Addressing Crime Together meeting, which is open to the public. It will be an in person event, but you can attend virtually as well. The FCSO will host it live on their Facebook page for anyone who wants to attend, but cannot make it in person.
This meeting will allow Sheriff Staly to talk about things like crime trends in Flagler County as well as the ways that the Sheriff’s Office is working to improve areas like public safety and future agency plans.
“The A.C.T. meeting is held annually to enable us to really connect with the community and get instant feedback and for transparency. I’m proud to say we have an incredible team and partnership with our community,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “Since I became your Sheriff, there’s been a total crime reduction of 54% as we’ve implemented new initiatives to aid in keeping our community safe. Not only has our team done a phenomenal job, but the community has rallied around us and embraced the guardianship policing philosophy and partnered with us to be the eyes and ears in our neighborhoods and business community. An engaged community is an informed and safer community so please join us on Thursday. You can even tour the museum and see the history of the Sheriff’s Office since 1917 on display in the public areas of the Operations Center. I look forward to seeing you on Thursday.”
The A.C.T. meeting will be held at the FCSO Operations Center, on Thursday April 6th, at 2pm. The FCSO Operations Center is at 61 Sheriff EW Johnston Drive in Bunnell Florida. It will also be on the FCSO facebook page as a live video as well.
