March 30, 2023 – Flagler County Health and Human Services Department is bringing together a full complement of social services providers for its “Flagler Spring Fling Outreach” to provide free information, as well as immediate assistance with things like free food and haircuts – provided by Grace Food Pantry. The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on May 5 at Cattleman’s Hall at the Fairgrounds.

“This is a great time of year to provide outreach in the community with our one-stop shopping for these much-needed services,” said Health and Human Services Director Joseph Hegedus. “Sometimes the only reason people don’t get help is that they aren’t exactly sure what they need or where to find assistance. We’re here so no one slips through the cracks.”

In addition to Health and Human Services, the following agencies/services will be available:

“Human Services Program Manager Kim Bennett worked very hard to bring as many resources as possible to this event,” Hegedus said. “This is what community services is all about – people and organizations coming together to help one another in Flagler County.”
