Last night, Krewe of the 13 held their annual Casino Night fundraiser. Upon checking in, guests were able to browse the hallway which was lined with large amounts of items up for bid on the silent auction.  Guests saw all kinds of attire as they trickled in the doors. From sparkly evening attire, to full pirate garb, guests gambled the night away for a good cause. There were raffles, door prizes, silent auctions and guests were able to purchase extra drink tickets as well.

Guests were able to browse the goods on the silent auction tables which lined both sides of the hallways leading into the main room. Once in the main room, there was a bar, where guests were able to get drinks of all kinds both alcoholic and non alcoholic.  Music played in the background with a DJ, who kept the crowd engaged and enjoying their night. Staff walked the floor passing appetizers and food for guest convenience.

Spirits were high as guests visited, laughed, danced and gambled at the casino tables throughout the room. Old friends enjoyed time spent together, couples enjoyed date nights out while supporting a good cause, and many people were making new friends as they moved through the casino tables. Guests were able to choose between 3-car poker, blackjack, craps, and roulette.  Dealers kept guests in high spirits, as well as teaching guests who did not know how to the play the games.

Cathy Greene, member of the Krewe of the 13 Organization, spent the evening ensuring the event went on without a hitch. She made sure to greet guests, as she was coordinating the event. Guests attended from multiple clubs, like the St. Augustine Camera Club, the Flagler Beach Photography Club, and many businesses who sponsored the event were also in attendance.  Guests were eager to enjoy the night, even posing for photos, dancing, and singing along to the songs.

This annual event takes place every spring and is one of the two main events that Krewe of the 13 puts on every year. This event is used to raise money that the Krewe will use to help families in our community who are in dire need.  All proceeds from the fundraiser, and the Krewe go towards helping local families, which makes this non-profit worth checking into.
